(eBOOK) Letters From A Traveler: How Busking Saved My Life by Tyresse Bracy | Independent Author & Movement Artist
Letters From A Traveler is a raw and reflective manual written to myself (Tyresse Bracy) — a record of creative discovery as a dancing Black boy from the Southern United States who defied the odds in pursuit of a life he had never seen before.
These letters were written in motion — on trains, in unfamiliar countries, beneath foreign skies — because I was the first of my legacy and last name to attempt this path.
Inside these pages, I explore:
How to love without losing yourself.
How to build friendship while becoming your own foundation.
How to discipline the body and sharpen the mind.
How to think constructively when chaos surrounds you.
How to travel Western Europe as a street artist with nothing but a boombox and belief.
What began as busking became transformation.
What looked like survival became philosophy.
This is modern stoicism lived out loud — embodied, tested, and earned on concrete.
These letters were written to save my life.
Now I hand them to you.
