The question is always, how was Europe/Traveling & which do you like best America/EU?

What a fascinating, Turkish delight of a loaded question. The question itself is baffling as I can’t decompress over a decade of life into a basic elevator pitch of a retort.

But I'll try….So here goes, I enjoy them both for different properties.

With that said, before the deep dive I'll provide a map of all the places I have wandered & lived within. Because to me culture is everything, and it’s difficult to examine the weight of a nation in the EU vs The U.S. when a one hour flight NESW changes the language, food, and experience.

So....it's not to say that I prefer EU over America ( I do), its that as a traveler you take bits and pieces of each land mass/region with you.

In so many ways I feel that I have lives 100 lives. Sometimes I think in German, I drink like an Irish man, and party like a Berliner (Berlin is NOT germany).

I dig the U.S. for its feeling of community, wealthy culinary dishes, never back down attitude, the freedom to maneuver yourself into different economic and social brackets with limited paper work.

Yet, the absence of universal health care, and train/tram/bus that picks you up on time outside your front door is unmatched. Not to mention, that even with inflation going NUTS one can still grocery shop for a week at the local penny for about 40 bucks.

There are other overwhelming reasons that I see EU as a great hub to flourish as a human. But let's face facts, they're hundreds of years ahead of America in most regards. The horrors we face here happened centuries ago across the pond.

So I never let a smug espresso sipping mfer tell me a thing about how great their nation is....

When they were really tyrannical some years ago.
